Elizabeth is currently finalizing her 2008 teaching schedule. She teaches finishing techniques in Linen/Counted Work, Needlepoint and Wool Applique.  She also has a collection of teaching pieces that are available for bookings.  She can also design a specific class for your group.  Please contact her for more information.

Teaching a 'Sampler of Stitches".  I will be debuting a new sampler designed for Pam.  This is a small sampler with a house and 2 weeping willow trees.  There is a shepherdess with sheep and a verse of Virtue.  The sampler is designed in the style of New England Samplers of the late 1600-1700 style.  The sampler has counted thread work and free style embroidery.  The sampler is designed to teach new stitches.  Pictures of the piece will be posted soon.

The afternoon class 'Get it Finished' the students will bring in unfinished projects and we will work on completing them.  Students need to bring in a finished project and the finishing project.  They should also bring in any kit supplies and instructions that are related to the piece.   Elizabeth will have finishing products on hand and will guide the students to a finished product.  The students will learn about twisted cording and will get a booklet that will include finishing techniques for Needlepoint and Linen finishing.  Tips and hints for a professional finished product will be given during the class.  Pull out those unfinished projects and come and join us for a jump start on getting those projects finished!

Teaching Luna Solstice in morning and 'Get it Finished' in the afternoon.  

The morning class the students will learn how to manipulate wool and will make the scissor case and fob.  Stitching and finishing instructions for the Needlebook will be discussed during the class.  Hand painted wooden shaker box will be an optional purchase to the kit.  This box is a great sewing accessory and great place for all the stitching accessories to rest.
