Teaching a 'Sampler of
Stitches". I will be debuting a new sampler designed for
Pam. This is a small sampler with a house and 2 weeping willow
trees. There is a shepherdess with sheep and a verse of
Virtue. The sampler is designed in the style of New England
Samplers of the late 1600-1700 style. The sampler has counted
thread work and free style embroidery. The sampler is designed to
teach new stitches. Pictures of the piece will be posted soon.
The afternoon class 'Get it Finished'
the students will bring in unfinished projects and we will work on
completing them. Students need to bring in a finished project and
the finishing project. They should also bring in any kit supplies
and instructions that are related to the piece. Elizabeth
will have finishing products on hand and will guide the students to a
finished product. The students will learn about twisted cording
and will get a booklet that will include finishing techniques for
