This was designed to have a Scottish feel with the red and green thread colors and the Scottish Alphabet. This sampler uses Cross Stitch, Rice Stitch, Back Stitch and Satin Stitch. This sampler was stitched on Strathaven Natural Linen and uses Au Ver A Soie silk. This sampler is a little complicated with keeping the Satin Stitch consistent in the carnations in the border area.
